LAKE VILLAGE, Ark. (DTN) -- I was awakened Thursday morning by what sounded like a small airplane flying right over the top of the hotel. I couldn't figure why an airplane would be flying that early and that close, until I remembered I was in Lake Village, Ark., not my home state of Iowa. Unlike in Iowa, fieldwork was well under way in this area of Arkansas, with some corn already planted and bean planters standing by. [Full Story]
